I am from Cuba and know bad English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "America may seduce from how it is involved in ireland, because it in time has been hidden by mid-1987 nudity's story mayors seldom."

Thanks for the help 8-), Dessa.

Good post. I've read that people who were at the show witnessed that at the last dance of Cherie Lunghi not one of the 'celbrities' (ie. Z-listers most of us had never heard of, except John Sergeant) would make eye contact with John. Add to that the judges comments and the comments of Cherie and her dancing partner - how can I NOT believe that er... "The producers were clearly attempting to protect the Strictly Come Dancing brand and, if he had not gone, things may have become ugly". How politely put.

Hesitate to disagree, but if the BBC has a contestant on their top Saturday show who is consistently all over the papers like a rash and who seems to unite the public for entirely benign resasons (not common at the Beeb at the moment!) Why on earth would they want to get rid of him? Personally I always thought the judge's disapproval was the manufactured bit of this row. Nothing like a good controversy to get the ratings up!

I suspect that John Sergeant will have been aware that his stay in the show is creating as much animosity as it is delight for his "fans" (or should I say those with a bet on his winning the show, plus the anti-authoritarians, plus those wishing to exercise their democratic power (hahaha - wonder where they all are when it comes to election time?)). By retiring gracefully now, Mr Sergeant will know that he is both appeasing those distressed by his continued dancing pig demonstrations whilst becoming a hero amongst said 'fans'. Brand protection would have been better maintained by allowing him to continue, since there would be a lower risk of public backlash. You are strictly dancing round the real reason - John Sergeant wants to retain at least some level of dignity.
